Some commonly used abbreviations in messenger. MSN is the most commonly known messenger but there is also Gtalk and Yahoo messenger. These are only abbreviations so it doesn't include shortened words such as "ur". This is for people who are new to msn!

atm - at the moment
bl - back luck
brb - Be right back
btw - By the way
dw - don't worry
ffs - for fucks sake
g2g (or gtg) - got to go
lol - laugh out loud
nvm - never mind
omfg - oh my fucking god
omg - oh my god
rofl - right out fucking loud
stfu - Shut the fuck up
ttyl - talk to you later
wtf - What the fuck (Or who the fuck)
